| Hate this phase the most... I hate the teething phase. Gizmo is cranky, not listening, and I know is in pain (you can see it when he chews his kibble). Trying to calm myself down because I know this isn't my dog that's acting up just the circumstance that's causing it. But I forgot how much this phase sucked for me and the puppy. Just had to vent

| Awe poor baby!! Does he have anything to chew on? That might help him. If you can see it is hard for him to chew you can put a little water in his kibble.. When Pnut was teething, I put some peanut butter in his kong and would freeze it, it would make him want to chew on it to get the frozen PB, seemed to help him, along with bully sticks!

But yes, he's going to town on his bully stick and his Merrick beef chew. I keep checking his gums and almost all of the front teeth (exception of the canines) are in and I felt the back ones coming in. I tried the water in his kibble and he hated it. He eats it dry but I can see it on his face when he's chews. :0( Thanks for the support!

| I hated the teething/chewing phase also. You just have to have things they can chew on at all times

| Well you are being a great Momma!! Its hard to see them in pain!! Anything you stick in the kong you can freeze it!! Last longer for them and Im sure the cold feels good! Ive also put yogurt and little pieces of his fav fruit! Give it some time, and the teething stage will end! You are doing a great job!!

| I think it was itsbaddangel that got the recommendation to wet & freeze something like a rope toy or I imagine you could even tie a wash cloth or two, I bet that would feel good.

So he was uninterested. I have him gnawing on a twisted bully stick now and he seems content. He's such a grumpy monkey

| ZoE is teething really bad right now too She came to me last night when I got home, just whining away. She had two teeth that were sideways, along the roof of her mouth, but still attached. She was miserable, so I pulled them for her. I felt terrible that she could have been that way all day while I was at work. (working 6 days a week for next three weeks while people on vacation...rotten timing...) She was much better after I pulled them. Now she's got wiggly ones on the other side . I love the frozen PB in Kong idea. I've got it in the freezer as I'm typing this

| Aww poor Zoe! By the way I was looking at the picture of her trying to convince my husband how cute it would be to have a little girl, and Gizmo saw her on my screen and started licking it. I think he's in love!
