| Need some advice about my yorkie newborns So as you all know and for those of you who don't know my female yorkie Lola had her first litter which was two healthy beautiful girls . I've taken her and the puppies to the vet and their doing fine . They've had their tails docked their eyes have already opened I just need all your help as to when do they start eating puppy food when do I need to tape their ears and what exact steps I need to do next I know its a lot of questions but any and all advice would be greatly appreciated . P.S they will be 3 weeks tomorrow |

| congrats on your babies..they will get their teeth around 5 wks and probably can be fed some kibble (soak in warm water until soft)

| So you don't tape them you shave their ears ? So its safe for me to do that now that their 3 weeks old ? |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | If you keep the weight of hair off their ears, sometimes it's not necessary to tape them later...sometimes it is. And yes you can shave them now. You can buy a wahl peanut trimmer at Sally's beauty supply or a mustache trimmer available at most drug stores.
