| Am I really considering another yorkie? My breeder just had 3 litters! Two litters were born on my daughter's birthdate. Courtney is wanting her own yorkie . . . it was her pestering that got me to give in to her desires but Carter is "MY" yorkie. My dilemna is that I had to talk my dh into the first pup and he's against a 2nd one. Should I put the deposit and work on him for the next 3 months while the pup is with the mom? If my dd makes the honor roll for the last grading period, the battle will be easier. I am sooooo in the "need another yorkie" mood. What do you think????

| I say a big fat YES! It will be great for Carter to have a friend around, great motivation for your daughter, and I'm sure your husband will come around. After all, he did come around enough for you to get Carter!

| I am really thinking this is fate . . . they were actually born on her birthdate. I'm going to talk to my dd about it this afternoon. It will be mucho motivation for honor roll. Just hoping that this isn't wishful thinking!

| That'd be one cute reward your Courtney will have! I'd say go for it, but I'd say to try to do it with your husband's support. |

| Once I talk to dd about it after school today, I'll begin the work on my husband. Its going to take some work but worth a try. The bloodlines on the pups are different from Carter's. I had her fax me all the info on them. Silky coat is a priority and I believe that this will be achieved in these litters. Carter was soooo easy in making the transition to our home. My only worry is that the new pup won't have as long at home with the mom and siblings as Carter did. Maybe being here with Carter will overcome anything he'd miss by staying with his first mom for a longer period. We'd pick up at 13 weeks instead of the 25 weeks we did with Carter.

| Well . . . we got him to agree to it tonight. {edited because I found an eavesdropper in the forum]. Waiting to hear from the breeder to see if she can keep the pup until mid-July when Courtney returns from her trip to North Carolina to stay with her sister, goddaughter and nephew. If the breeder says yes, them I'm sure a new pup is in our future! The pup has a tremendous pedigree . . . more champions than I've ever seen on a pedigree chart before.
