| Need Help - Consumer Product Opinions - Dog Coats I'm currently researching adding dog coats and jackets to my accessories product line. With that being said, I live in a very warm climate and don't have much experience with dog coats, except for the occasional rain. Cooper has a jacket with a hood, which I thought would be a good idea to protect his head, however it's more of a nuisance because it falls over his eyes. I would really appreciate any input you can provide as to what you look for in a dog winter snow/rain jacket. I have a couple of questions posted below. I'm interested in ideas for coats for both small and large dogs. 1. Do you prefer a hood? 2. Must it have a D-Ring attachment on the jacket itself? 3. Do you like sleeves? 4. Velcro or zipper closure? 5. If attached around dog's belly do you prefer full coverage or one strap under the belly? Thanks again.

2. Prefer no D-ring, because I don't feel they are really safe enough, but like the little hole, so you can pull the d-ring from the harness through. 3. Yes- more warmth. 4. Both are good. 5. One strap is easiest to put on, but a very wide strap still allows for warmth. Hope this helps- can't wait to see what you get.

| I like hoods on Jackson. Things without hoods always seem to fit him awkward. D-ring attachment on the jacket itself is not a big deal to me but I DO like to have a slot where his harness can pull through. If there's no slot, a d-ring would be helpful. I'm iffy on sleeves. I personally don't like them as much because it makes them more difficult to get on and they seem less comfortable for Jackson to walk in. Velcro I tend to like better. It just seems easier. I have a jacket with buttons and it is harder to put on. As for the belly, I don't really care either way. And yay I hope you do start carrying some. I don't need any now but am always looking for good jackets and hoodies in the fall/winter. I don't have a raincoat for him yet either.

2. Like the others, I would prefer the slot to pull the d-ring through from the harness 3. Yes I like sleeves for winter but not for the fall 4. Velcro definitely 5. I agree with the others that one strap is easier, the wider the better except for the boy dogs. It seems like every t-shirt, sweater, or jacket I find for Toby goes too far back on his belly so when we go for a walk and he has to potty, the clothing gets wet. I'm with Brit, I don't have a raincoat for Toby and he does NOT like to get wet. Would love to see you carry raincoats too!

| 1. I don't care either way,Gatsby will not wear a hood but I know dogs that do 2. A d-ring would be helpful but i do like the slot better 3. no, I hate sleeves they make things harder to put on and harder to fit. 4. Velcro zippers cam get caught in the hair and pull and pull velcro can to but its not as painful 5. I prefer full coverage but I also like the belly to be high cause I have a boy dog and they do tinkle on clothes

| So far this is very helpful. Thank you! I was under the impression that you can use 1 coat for both snow and rain. What is different that you would be looking for in a raincoat? Lighter material? I didn't think 2 separate jackets were necessary, but I'm not yet sure.

If attached around dog's belly do you prefer full coverage or one strap under the belly? 1. No hood, she won't use it. 2. I like D-ring on well made strudy items. 3. Don't like the hassle of sleeves. 4. Only velcro or snaps...can't zipper with all of Zhoie's coat. 5. I like heaver full belly coverage for really cold days and lighter 1 strap for not so bad days. 6. Really like nice quality rain coats to, with lining for colder days, with- out lining for just rainy days.

| Thank you! Definitely some commonalities that will help me. Does anyone have a larger breed dog to offer advice as well? Ideally I'd like to find jackets that come in several sizes that will work for all size dogs rather than Small Breed Jackets / Large Breed Jackets.

| 1. Do you prefer a hood? I definitely prefer NO hood. They are cute, but a nuisance. 2. Must it have a D-Ring attachment on the jacket itself? I don't like the actual D-ring on the jacket...but the little hole for the harness's D-ring is a must. 3. Do you like sleeves? I can go either way with the sleeves. They do not bother Levi or me. 4. Velcro or zipper closure? Hmm. I don't think we've ever had a zippered coat. We haven't had any problems with velcro though. 5. If attached around dog's belly do you prefer full coverage or one strap under the belly? Either way - one strap is fine, but full coverage might be warmer. Levi and I are excited to see your jacket/coat selection.
