| poop in sleep? Furgie has me suspicious she might have allergies, she has been sneezing often the last couple days. Today she had her first does of Heartgard plus, I also gave her the frontline ointment. Just now she was lazying on the couch next to me sleeping and I heart a wet sounding fart, or so I thought! She pooped in her sleep!!! Very soft poop, not liquid. Has anyone ever experienced this??? On the pamphlet for the heartgard it said diarrhea was rarely observed. My gut says it is related to the heartgard...but not sure, what do you guys thing??? Luckily my boyfriend was not home...this is his furniture, he would not have been happy!!!

I have never had that happen, however, is she acting any differently besides that? Usually dogs don't have allergies until they are at least a year old ( this is what the vet I worked for said, but I dont believe it) I would just moniter her.....still eating, drinking, and playing? thats a good sign if she is......

The area I live most dogs aren't on heartgard...heartworm is not a problem around here (in AZ). Next month we are traveling to CT, so I know the dogs there are on heartgard, so I wanted to make sure she is protected...

I would still have her on some type of protection, regardless of other dogs aren't. Just for safety's sake! Keep us updated!
