| need some votes on books! i have read countless (literally) books on yorkies, and soo much online content etc, i can't for the life of me remember which ones were best and which useless! a woman enquiring about my current litter has asked for recommended books, so YT was of course my first thought for recommendations! they are not to be bred, so i dont need the books to have extensive breeding and whelping sections (those ones i could have named! grr!!)- just general, but with great info! so basically, what books- as a first time yorkie owner- did you (or your new puppy mommas or your litters) find most helpful? thanks in advance!!

| I LOVE the book Yorkshire Terriers for Dummies. It was great and helped me a lot when I was a complete newbie. I still refer back to it once in awhile because it has a lot of useful tips and lists! I highly recommend this book. I do not know if there are better ones out there, but this one answered almost all my questions and even some I didn't know to ask! It is a really good place to start imo. Hope this helps! |
