| How much does your Yorkie sleep? Ok... I have had my Oliver since the end of January and he is 6 years old. He is such a sweet calm little guy... and I love it... but he sleeps ALL the time! I make sure to take him on a nice walk every day and he does a great job... but then he just goes right back to sleep!! Is he depressed? Is it the puppy mill history?

| On rainy or cold days, Tibbe, age 3 1/2, probably sleeps 18-19 hours or so. On pretty, sunny days, he sleeps around 12 hours and is up and active the rest of the time. But I have noticed a definite tendency of his to curl up and sleep away the bad days.

| Mine sleep through the night, I am sure they sleep when I am gone, and they will curl up late at night when I watch tv and sleep, but otherwise they are up playing. I will say armani slept a lot more before we got Chloe. Now that he has a playmate he can play more easily without help from me.

| Buster takes a fair amount of naps. I was reading Armaniman's post and I think since Buster is an only dog he sleeps more out of boredom. Perhaps if he had a companion he would sleep less.

| Hmmm... well, Jackson usually falls asleep for the night around 10pm and sleeps until 8-9 the next morning. In general, he sleeps 10hrs through the night. Then he sleeps probably 6hrs during the day. So maybe 16ish hours a day? Rainy days and snowy days are different... he tends to sleep a lot more on those days!

| Levi's sleep patterns vary based on if someone is home throughout the day with him or not. He generally falls asleep for the night around 10pm and wakes up at 6:30am to go potty and eat breakfast. He then goes back to sleep from 7-10am. He will literally stay awake the entire day if I am home or if I take him everywhere with me. If I am at work or in class, I'm sure he sleeps for most of that time...so he probably sleeps anywhere from 10-18 hours a day. If I had to guess, I would say he sleeps 16 hours a day throughout the week, and maybe 12 hours a day on the weekends.

| Oliver stayed with my mom today and she said he paced and stood by the window until I got back. When I get home from work I take him everywhere with me. It breaks my heart that he is pacing until I get home.... no wonder he is so sleepy.

| Princess is about 15 months and sleeps if I am busy or sleeping. If I'm on the couch or at the PC she is insisting on playing. Whenever we are gone, no matter how long, it seems she sleeps the whole time. No toys will be out, no food will be gone, & her water even looks untouched. Looking through some pictures almost all of them are of her sleeping! I do think she would be more active if she had a lil sis...maybe one day!

| My little Teddy sleeps more than the two old goats! Teddy has been a lazy couch potato since we brought him home at 10 weeks old. My old dogs will play and run around and Teddy will just stay anchored on his cloud 9 bed, unless it involves food in which case he is up and around.
