Senior Yorkie Talker | Help!??! So today Izzy went to my bfs moms house for the first time. They have a pom. Well Izzy snuck into the kitchen and ate a couple bites of Chloe (the pom) food, and may have drank some of her water. The food wasnt the same as hers and the water was tap. (we give her bottle) Well we bring her home and she has thrown up 4 times within an hour and a half. Do you think its because of the diff food she ate. She has drank a little water since she got home. I want to give her some nutrical but ima afraid it will make her throw up again!??! Should we just keep an eye on her through out the night, or what?? |

| That is what happens with a sudden change in food. She will be ok. Just let her have water and when her tummy has settled some, you can give her some boiled chicken breast and rice. It will be kind to her upset tummy. She should be ok tomorrow. The nutrical would be ok.

| Was she supervised the whole time? Maybe she ate something non-edible ...maybe found a tiny toy under the table??? Could happen. We have an Izzy also! Short for Issabella

| I would try to give her a little nutri cal. Then just give her time to rest. If she is still not better by morning, I would give the vet a call or run her in. Throwing up that many times.....seems kinda suspicious of something else. Hope all goes well tonight!!!

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | I'm sure it was just the sudden change of food as other members are saying, if her tummy dosnt settle down in the next day or so you could ring your vet for advice. But im sure she will be fine.
