|  My first post!! Hi everyone. My name is Gabby; long time lurker, first time poster.  I am 29 years old with four children and I am currently (mentally) preparing for our first Yorkie. I am not a newbie to pups; when I was younger I had 2 pomeranian pups. Kee passed on and Ty was dognapped while my Godmother was petsitting for me. Since then I have been very reluctant to get another furry family member. My heart is still a little raw even though both have been gone over 15 years.  That brings us to now. My husband and I are moving into our new home, our business is flourishing, and our youngest will be starting kindergarten this fall. We're ready!! I have to find a semi-local breeder and continue to do due diligence before we start our process. I'm as excited as I was when I first found out I was pregnant (each time)! Nice to "meet" you all. |

| 2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member  | Welcome to TY.. I do have one suggestion for you. You mentioned moving into a new home soon, how exciting for you. You may want to wait to bring home a new addition to the family until you and your family are settled into your new home completely. Best not to have the added confusion to the newcomer amongst all of the moving in process. The less confusion the better. Just the new surroundings alone can be a stressful situation on a tiny Yorkie.

| We went to visit a breeder in York. It wasn't a good match. I'll wait until we are done remodeling the kitchen and sun porch and look again this summer. You're right, Dawn. There's no need to rush this. It will happen when it happens. Thank you for all the welcomes, everyone! |
