| Thanks--Docking Advice Thanks to all who answered by plea for tail docking advice on a 19 week old Yorkied. Special thanks to Wendybee for the picture of Rosie with beautiful tail (we had a Rosie, a Yorkie, for 17 years). And to Lilfoot for the story about screaming puppies--that put my head on straight! And Julz, when all is done with my new puppy, I'll give you the short version of her "breeder". Atia isn't exactly ours yet--complicated but I'll try to shorten and make it interesting! Really a warm welcome for a newbie! |

| I like that tails too! I wish that AKC would start to lighten up on the show circut. They claim that they don't want a dog altered (neutered/spayed) but yet they want their tails cut off always makes me wonder. It should be a choice...

Yea, I think they should leave their tails alone. I have no idea why it started in the first place. I don't think it should be a choice, I think it should be left alone.
