| Grieving over the loss of my furbaby.... ....anyone grieving over the loss of their Yorkie? I feel so lost without my little girl. Was wondering if anyone out there is going the same situation. I feel so devastated. Kindly write to me. Communicating with people that have gone or are going thru this is medicinal in lots of ways and helps to cope. Don't you agree? | I lost my 11.5 year old yorkie on January 19th suddenly. I miss her beyond words and it hurts so bad. My guardian angel I will call them guided me to finding Savannah I've had this little rescue it will be 2 weeks tomorrow. I still have a rough time without my Binky but Savannah seems to give me something to focus on with her needs. She's an amazing sweet little girl and 4 years old but with lots of cuddles and love she's coming out of her shell. She didn't know what treats were...doesn't know gentle loving hands and still fears them though she's playing a bit. she has no clue what a toy is but you may find if you had not others dogs one to love I thought it over long and hard and knew my odds of finding one from a college kid who bought one and figured out it wasn't a purse accessory or a toy and actually required work was pretty high. I also checked with rescue groups for a fit into our family Its hard to view all the dogs and hear their sad stories and to read deeply and know that they'd not fit into your family and praying someone else's would give them a forever home. My little girl did amazing last weekend when we had the feral cat in our hall in a cage recovering from a spay and only tried to make friends once...yorkies are smart. with my life being like that a fair bit it was harder to find a fit than for most esp with the girls working at the vets office. my thoughts and prayers go out to you losing mine was like losing one of my kids and even my two legged kids were afraid I'd lose my mind |

| Aww, I know what you mean. My Chiquita's dad helps me cope, but I cry about her always. I know she's in a better place, no more pain. She gave me 6 of my happiest years, and I her the same. She knew how much I loved her, and will forever. Rainbow bridge poem helps. Have you read it? It helps. Thanks for writing. Send me a pic of your past and now present baby. |

| Its so hard. Love your little one. Searching for a new Yorkie. Miss the live my Chiquita gave me. Have her daddy, but not the same. He loves me and I love him, but different. I had her since minutes of birth. Did her mommy's job. I have her mommy and daddy. Mommy didn't even breast feed her. I bottle fed her. She was like my daughter. So now, I'm searching for a new little girl, not to replace Chiquita, cause I'm not replacing. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am so sorry for your loss of your baby. It is so heartbreaking. I lost my Pom about 2 years ago at the age of 12 and 3 years ago I lost Dixie a yorkie puppy at 7 months to congenital kidney failure. I only had her 5 short weeks but she stole my heart in that short time. Each one takes a piece of your heart when they go. Fortunately, our hearts are big so we can once again welcome another one in to love and help us heal. I am glad you have her Dad to help you. Pictured 1. Nikki 16 years old 2.Maya (RIP) 3. Pixie and Roxie 5 and 3 years old 4. Cali 5 1/2 years old. I don't have a picture of Dixie (RIP) on this computer.

Of course you aren't looking to replace your baby..but having another one will definitely help you through your grief! There are plenty of yorkies out there that need homes...Have you considered adopting from a yorkie rescue? It's something you might consider too. We just adopted a senior yorkie....and I can't imagine my life without Honey!! Although she's ten yrs old...I look forward to many years with her..and hope to make her retirement age a HAPPY ONE!! Welcome to YT!

My daughter lost her yorkie a couple years ago to a freak accident.....and she grieved so hard....a little while later my husband and I searched and adopted another yorkie for her. Although Jazzy could never replace Lilly....She certainly helped her through a VERY hard time!! | Aww, that's great!!! I'm afraid to get a rescue because it breaks my heart to see these animals that have either been mistreated or hurt in anyway. I'd rather get a puppy. |
