No Longer a Member | Yorkie Hates Phonecalls Rizzo has developed a wonderfully entertaining behavior problem (aren't they all) I'm not even sure if I should call this a problem, so much as an oddity. He has started acting out as soon as I put on my headphones to call my bf. Doesn't matter what time of day/night it is but as soon as my headphones go on, he starts growling and attacking every single toy he has. I can be sitting at my computer, like I am now, and he is quietly chewing on a toy. But 10 mins ago, once I slipped my headphones on he decided that was the time to start making as much noise possible. Sometimes he even gets the cat involved by annoying him into meowing. (yes, the cat tattles on the dog if the dog is bugging him, seriously, mornings are chock full of annoyed kitty meows) It makes me giggle, and my bf laughs as well so it's not really a problem. Just wondering, why on earth he does this. I don't have to be talking, if I just put them on my head he goes bananas for his toys??? BF says he's just acting out for attention, lol He is such an oddball. |

| Sammy used to do that too but he hasn't in awhile. The only time he would bark recently was when I was on the phone with my aunt who was hard of hearing and I had to talk loud so she could hear me. I would have to go into another room to call her. My kids used to get into everything when they were little and I was on the phone. Or they would start fighting and making so much noise. |

| I don't know what'sup w/these pups and mama talking on the phone...You won't believe how many times I have had to go to the bathroom, and close the door to talk on the phone...As soon as I start talking on the phone, they get the zoomies, and start running around, barking and chasing each other...In fact, when I walk down the hall, to the bathroom (so I can hear the other person talking), they all follow me, barking and running, right to the door lol...They are like kids, who don't want mama talking to anyone, but them lol... |

| You're right about that. My three little ones don't like me on the phone either. They go crazy. |

| Has anyone successfully trained their furchild NOT to react to the phone ringing or your conversation? I am beyond the "amused" stage with Dori. Her antics are annoying and disruptive. To correct her, I have to interrupt my call. So far, little success

No Longer a Member | I'm really not sure, I guess it would be good to curb this behavior now since he's still young. He's good about only getting destructive with his toys, and annoying the cat, and he doesn't bark....just growls very loud. So far I've only noticed him doing this when I put my headphones on (I make all my calls through Skype since I'm overseas and LD is $$$) Maybe I'll just start walking around with them on my head??? lol |

| Yes...these little ones are so much like skin kids. When I am on the phone, it never fails...they are coming to me with toys, barking and carrying on. The little stinkers!
