| Scruffy looking baby Is there any way of keeping my Bitsy looking like she does when she gets done at the groomer?? We also have a mini doxie that she loves to play with, and when they get done playing she looks like such a mess! I brush her but it doesn't do much good (I got a brush from WalMart). Don't know if it's the brush or her coat, she has a cotton like coat. Any suggestions???

| I have two yorkies and they both have different types of hair...One is shiny, soft, silky and fine (Apple)...the other is thicker and more course (Buzz)...I can brush them 'till the cows come home, but 15 minutes later, it looks like I haven't touched either of them in a week...I always wonder, in the pictures I see of Yorkies, if they look like that all the time, or just when they get their picture taken?....I finally just quit fretting over it...They're just my little scruff bunnies |

| Yeah that's what I was wondering. Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks that. I won't worry about it then. I'll give her her morning brushing and evening and let the rest go! LOL

| My little one is the scraggliest looking thing you've ever seen. I could brush her all day everyday and in 15 minutes she would still look like a homeless dog that's been out on the streets her whole life. |

| well... I LOVE putting tshirts and dresses on Remy and she would get so matted Her coat always looked so stringy too. I cut her hair short. I left the legs and the head (I love pulling the hair up in a top knot). I was in a bit of shock after I did it, but she looks very cute in her outfits and doesn't matt as much. It has been awhile so it is growning back and I think the hairs looks more silky. There are some yt who sell great pin brushes and grooming products. Look in the grooming section.. hope that helps

| Zach is the same way. He always looks like a mess no matter how many times I brush him. The best brush I ever got was a Madan brush. They're a little expensive but they have one for every type coat. I'm sure somebody will give you the address but you can find them on the internet. The cheap ones are not really good as I found out. Zach has a silky coat and he always looks like spagetti strands Oliver is a shih tzu and has a very full coat. They tell you what color to get for the different kinds of coats. |

| Mostly, I've learned to just enjoy the scruffiness! I love it when his hair is all wild when he wakes ups sometimes! I too thought for a while that he was always supposed to look all neat and combed. It's good to hear so many honest replies! |
