| This year we are going to have the tree and presents in the other lounge so we can shut prudence out if we need to as I am worried she might eat decorations off the tree and choke.

| This will be Kacee's first Christmas, so I am excited to see how she reacts to the lights etc... I can still remember Muffin when she first saw the lights and how enthralled she was by them, but she never did bother anything.

| haha Simon was so little his first Christmas, he was only 3 months old and he thought every ornament on the tree was a new toy! And he loved loved loved ripping the wrapping paper off the presents! Last year I had just moved here and didn't have a tree but I'm interested in how he and Hallie (it will be her first tree with me) will react to it. Someone at work made the comment I should decorate the tree with soccer balls, um not such a good idea, he would have it torn down in no time! Take lots of pictures of your babies during their first Christmas, I can't wait to see all of them! |

| Willy was never a problem with the Christmas tree. Our cats are our problem children with the tree. When they were younger we would tie the tree to the nails that pictures were on(we take them down when the tree goes up). I decorate the tree with the animals in mind, I use glass balls on the upper portion & satin balls on the lower, NO tinsel & I use the beaded garland. I have to redecorate the lower portion of my tree every evening as the cats remove the balls and they are all over the house. I love the holiday & there is no point in cleaning up broken ornaments. My cats look forward to the tree every year, Willy doesn't really care either way. Desiree |

| LOL!!! Ok here it goes. We don't put anything under the tree, untill Christmas morning. We don't hang anything on the tree at their reach. A few years ago, we came home and all the Candy Canes were gone. Only plastic wrapers on the carpet. Roxanee & Poncho looking up at us, with the look of "What did we do wrong". Princess was in the clear, as she was with us. To be on the safe side, this year we will be getting a four foot tree and putting it up on a table. Who knows what Mandy would do to the tree. Good Luck!!!!

| Last year we decided not to get a Xmas tree cause we were afraid that Gucci will get into the decorations. We got a little fake tree for the table and kept the gifts away from her reach. We are thinking to do the same this year just to be safe. I found this info on the ASPCA website, just so we all are aware of things that can be dangerous for our babies. http://www.aspca.org/site/News2?page...s_iv_ctrl=1101 |
