Kind of curious if there are others out there whose dog associates you putting shoes on with you leaving. My Yogi scratches & paws at my shoes every time I put them on to leave the house. He seems to know if I take them off, I'm not leaving. Good thing my shoe wardrobe consists mostly of tennis shoes & work shoes!

Yes mine do. LOL
Also when ever the phone rings they also think I will be either leaving or someone is coming over.

My girl doesn't hate my shoes but if I put them on my girl gives me the look like "where's mine, I AM coming with you" Or let me grab my keys, she at the door waiting for me. I feel bad when I can't take her.
