I was wondering at what age is it safe to bathe a yorkie puppy? Also, I have a puppy from my litter that has some crust, scabs on the back of his neck. I don't see fleas there but have picked two off of him already. Think it's fleas or biting from the other two in the litter?

Other than giving the momma a bathe every week (she goes outside)I cannot flea control her until she finishes nursing, or can I? She doesn't lay with them anymore only stands there to nurse them for a minute or so.

Any advise on the above would be helpful. Thank you

Sorry...they will be 8 weeks old next Tuesday the 25th.

You should post in the breeder's section for questions about mom and pups. They are experienced. An eight-week-old is old enough to bathe though.

I took my baby to vet at 7 weeks for his first shoot, and she gave us Revolution sample and told to apply at 8 weeks age.

I took my baby to vet at 7 weeks for his first shoot, and she gave us Revolution sample and told to apply at 8 weeks age. I bathed my baby as soon as i got him and he was 7 weeks old, ever since my husband tells me when to bathe him, usually once a week.
