| shoutout to San Diego- want to get together to go Xmas shopping for yorkies? Hey, I wanted to know if anyone in San Diego wanted to meet up to get our furbabies some Christmas clothes and maybe presents. I know it seems early, but I figure this gives us the chance to set up a shopping day just for our dogs before we get really busy after Thanksgiving with the other kids. We can also share our favorite favorite pet stores. I really want to find a dress for Brandy, but everything at Petco/Petsmart isn't her size. A guy at Petsmart told me there is a specialty store for small dog clothes in Hillcrest. I am not familiar with that area and I was wondering if anyone here has been there. Maybe we could check it out as a group? I'm from La Mesa and I'd love to meet you guys for a great shoppingday and meet your yorkies. |

| shoppin! Aww, I wish you could all go to! I love San Diego. Too bad the military will probably be moving us in April. But anyways, back to the shopping: Here is a list of pet specialty stores in San Diego, but I know it's not complete. If anyone has a favorite store, please mention it. I am not really looking to go to the usual petsmart or petco, but the "hole in the wall" specialty stores that we love to go to. http://www.newtosandiego.com/Pet-Supply-Stores/ and http://www.sandiegobizmart.com/in_sa..._san_diego.htm I think the Pets Uptown Boutique is the one in Hillcrest the guy at Petsmart was raving about. |

| Hustler AAHH! Suz! That reminds me of what happened on Halloween! My husband and I went with 2 other couples downtown to go to the haunted houses. We were walking down the street and saw a live model in the window of Hustler dancing in her underwear. We had a couple drinks and I told my husband John that it would be HILARIOUS if he danced infront of the window with her. The six of us ran across the street and my husband walked up to the dancer in the window and started to sway from side to side like her. Then he "dropped it like it's hot," turned around and put his butt in the air. Then he started to take off his shirt. You can't imagine the look on that girl's face seeing his beer belly. The girl was laughing so hard she stopped dancing. It's so funny what I can get my husband to do when he's drunk. We were laughing so hard my face hurt! |

I love Preppy Pet in Temecula too!! Great and differetn stuff you don't see in the other stores or on the net! |

| I would have to sneak to do it. My husband is already jealous of Roxie and would think I was demented to plan a Christmas shopping expedition. For some strange reason he SEEMS to think I give her more attention then him..... hmmmm - could be possible

| puppy some people just don't understand yorkie love I guess. My husband tries to act all macho and never holds her. He said told me if I got a "fo fo" dog like a yorkie he wouldn't be caught dead walking it or holding it. Poor Brandy, she tries so hard to get his attention. He's from the south, so maybe that explains his attitude. Maybe we could plan it for right after the yorkie meetup? This way we'll already be out there together. This way maybe we can pick out Thanksgiving outfits too. I can't really buy from the internet because I really want to try the stuff on Brandy since she's so small, but is growing so fast. Some clothes she minds, some she hates. I haven't been to a specialty store yet, but no one I know has small dogs and I really doubt if my husband would go with me! |

| Funny, my husband is 6'7" inches and has no problem walking her or playing with her, but likes to remind me" SHE IS A DOG!" He is from the country and thinks dogs should serve a purpose- you know like guarding the chicken coop. I think if he knew how much I really spent on her- he would have a cow! I haven't brought any outfits because I think the look on his face and as well as my sons, would say it all. It's is a big step for him to let me have a indoor dog. It's bad enough she has her own car seat, day bed, accessories, dog classes etc.... my husband and kids think I have already lost my mind!

He already thinks we are all nuts because we actually have a website to talk about our furbabies. I just start throwing out all the celebrities who are crazy about their dogs, Oprah, Mariah, Kelly Rowlands,Jessica Simpson, Brittney, Whitney, Carmen Electra, Missy,etc... but it doesn't help that they are all females. I will get a holiday dress anyway and just ignore the looks!
