| potty patch Our Yorkiepoo ( 2yrs) uses wee-pads and our kids bought her a potty-patch..she's not keen on this. Does anyone have this? The erason we use wee-pads is..we live in the country..no neighbors and have coyete's..etc....so we take her out after dinner and then put down pads in case she needs it! |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I had one, bubbles didn't care for it. I have heard other people say that it gets a bit smelly after a while. If your pup is consistently using the pad, then stick to that.

| I have a potty patch as well, and neither of my doggers will use it! The one, Dexter, a long hair chihuahua, actually uses it. But, not in the manner it was built for...he thinks it's his bed. Lol So, if he isn't on the couches or just on the floor you will find him laying there sound a sleep. ZzZzZzZz which it is cute. hehe. Rocky (Yorkie) has no use for it at all... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150387806165417&set=a.18725795416 .39788.503975416 This is a picture of Dexter using the potty patch has his personal bed. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Thanks Thanks for posting this since I have been wondering if these potty patches were worth anything. It didn't seem to be worthwhile to me. This just verifies what I thought. Thanks for saving me the money.

| I was just reading reviews on this today as I was considering buying one. It received overwhelmingly negative reviews by most people who submitted personal reviews. Most said the same as what has been mentioned above, dogs wouldn't use it, smelly, etc. A few people liked it, but most did not.

| I have one and I really like it. My crew goes outside but sometimes have to resort to using this. I put a washable pee pad under the grass to absorb the urine and just clean up the poo if they go. I wash it in the tub every few weeks with bleach. I like it because I think mine don't get as confused with my rugs and the pee pads because the texture is different and it's more like the outside grass. Hope that helps. |
