This afternoon when it was time for Scooter and his sis to eat dinner I called for them. Sis came right away but no Scooter. I called again but no answer. I went into the yard because in one corner they both are obsessed with smelling the fence

Anyway right away I saw a small hole under the fence and when I looked over the top, there he was on the other side.....peeing. I called him and here he came all pleased with himself squirming under the fence. Tomorrow I'm putting concrete pavers all along the fence perimeter. I doubt that Scooter dug the hole but I'm sure his sis, who is 25 pounds, is the culprit. What a scare. He could have just kept on going and I would have never seen him again. My hands are still shaking.

Oh my gosh! I'm glad you went when you did! Wasn't that nice of him to show you his secret door!!

How scary! It was good that you went out and checked on him... Glad to hear a happy ending... We don't need to have any more missing yorkie threads here

I'm glad you are being careful, but I am sure he'll always remember the time when he got to pee on the other side of the fence.

This is one of my worst fears because I know yorkies are diggers. Our fence is down pretty deep so I don't think it would be possible but there's still that question (is it possible). Glad you got Scooter back.

I've stopped shaking but now whenever I look at him I almost cry. He's sleeping under the covers right next to me tonight.
