Hello, My name is Julie and I'm from Georgia. I recently have become the proud owner of a female Yorkie who I've named Isabella 'Izzy' Sofia

. My grandchildren called her "Izzy" so that's what we call her now. Izzy is full of energy and some to spare

! I drove to Leesburg, GA to get her and she never cried after leaving her brother. She sleeps all night, she is doing great and sleeps in her little crate at night with her blanket. I have her in a gate right now and I started out taking her outside to potty and she was doing well but I think she got confused because she is happier with the weather being cold just going on newspaper. I've changed it now to pee pee puppy pads and now she's going on it, YAY!!!!!! I am going to let her go on this for now then slowly open the gate for her to come in and out soon. Hopefully, she will go back to the pad to wee wee instead of my rug by then. I am happy I have found this forum. And I'm hoping to learn more about my Yorkie from all of your posts. I've made an Album of Izzy, but I can't figure out how to load my puppy 'Izzy's' picture in my profile yet but will keep on trying. So a BIG HELLO and NICE TO MEET ALL OF YOU!!

Welcome to YT. Congratulations on your new lil bundle of joy! There are also washable pads if you are ever interested.

Hi and thanks for the warm welcome! Izzy is def a ham for the camera lol...she best get used to it though, cos' I'm a freelance photographer and love taking pictures of grands and her! Nice to meet you

On the Pads...need a brand name to look up, getting bad reviews on one that I looked up so far.

Check these out by another YT member. I've never used washable pads, but a lot of people here do.

They are so sweet with her. Some are scared and some just want to love her up!!! Isn't be a grandma wonderful! I'm called Meme
