| grooming tools,can u use regular hair clippers? Just cuious, thinking about doing some grooming at home. Im still a learning mamma, but is there a real difference in pet grooming clippers and regular people clippers? |

| pet grooming clippers will cut the dog's nails, while people clippers will crush, then cut them. |

| Duh!! I spent a little more money on good pet clippers (I have three dogs) and it really makes a difference in how well they cut. I was using cheap clippers and Dahl people clippers before. It depends on how much you want to spend. I looked at it like saving $40-$60 per dog per grooming, so it was definitely worth it for me. |

| I have used people clippers on Kaji. He has a thicker soft coat, so I think the clippers just can't handle his coat. I'm a little worried that expensive clippers won't cut his coat evenly either. I'm letting his hair grow for now, so I think I'll worry about expensive clippers later.
