| They do have a way about them, don't they? Just one look and they know how to give you the look, too!

| I was determined that Dinky would sleep in his own little crate. Well, that was fine, until we we on vacation in a cabin. I had his crate at the foot of my bed, and when I got up in the middle of the night I realized that the air from the air conditioner in the other room was tunnelling in from the other room directly into his cage, and my baby was freezing! I grabbed him and snuggled him until he was warm. In the morning, he did all that cute and cozy good morning stuff. That night when I put him in our bed, he was so surprised and happy. I was hooked. When we got home, we disassembled the antique bed because it was too high to be safe for him. We were really missing out on a great part of Yorkieness! |

| It went very well actually. Although, we were up every few minutes to make sure he was ok :-) The morning was the BEST! He stretched out and nibbled on our fingers ever so lightly. He was actually doing very well at night and slept in his own bed every night with very little issues since day one. He is 16 weeks tomorrow and we've had him for four weeks. I don't know what it was but he let out the tiniest whimper at bed time and looked up as if to say, "you're not gonna leave me alone here are you?" He did great and even woke us up at 4am to take him to use the bathroom...well, potty training is a bit of a struggle so the "bathroom" is the tile floor (at least it wasn't the sheets right?)...It's just so funny how you make these promises to yourself that you'll never do this or that and yadda yadda yadda, but with yorkies it's a mute point! I love this little ball of fluff! |

| Well unless we buy a California King we don't let them all sleep with us at once! Our little ones take turns....but a couple always try to run up the steps into the bed and burrow and hide. They just look so upset when I say "Not ur turn tonight....you're tomorrow...remember?"
