| How can I make him stop Hi all. Scooter is a pants biter. I am constantly chasing him off of my leg. Every pair of jeans I own has holes in them now. I tell him no in a stern voice and he stops for a second and then right back to it. It has been a long time since I have had a puppy but I never remember any of them doing this. How can I stop him? Nothing is working and I am running out of money for jeans lol Last edited by Donnainohio63; 10-31-2010 at 07:05 PM. Reason: misspelled |

| We used a waterbottle on stream....right to the face and said "no no". They hated it. Now, if they start to do ANYTHING that they aren't "supposed" to do, all we do is say "no no". I do remember those days though....and those SHARP little teeth!!! |

| As YorkieZoo suggested you need to teach Scooter what "No" means. I taught Sophie Kate no by clapping my hands together loudly and saying "No" in a stern voice. She now knows what No means without the claps. Sophie Kate was a pants biter also, for the first two months I owned her I would end up hopping around the bedroom with one leg in my pants and the other in her mouth-- pulling.
