Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | George is breaking down! This morning Tallulah barked when George was sharpening pencils in the other room (she picks the funniest things to bark at and totally ignores other things). Anyway, when he came back in the living room, he actually spoke to her and tried to pet her. She's still very shy so she burrowed in my arm. George stood there for a minute and let her sniff his hand. It took a little over a week to get this far but I have a feeling she will have him wrapped around her little paw pretty soon. |

| How sweet! Believe me! They know how to wrap men around their little paws. It's innate!

| Ever since my boyfriend and I moved out, we have been yorkie-less. A couple of days ago he asked if we could go visit my parents (which is really odd for him), and I told him that my parents were both working. Then he confessed that he just wanted to go see their yorkies He is so cute with them!! This huge, macho man holding a little 5 lb yorkie like a baby walking around the house smiling ear to ear. His friends would NEVER believe it!

| I love how men fall for our babies too! My DH did not want me to get one of those "yapping little things." But he fell head over heels for our first one. Then it was him that encouraged me to get another. They all became his dog first and mine second. I imagine your George will have the barriers completely torn down in no time.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | My husband did NOT want a yorkie, no way, no how. Then he met Rhett. Now every time he walks in to the house, he greets him first and is always telling him how handsome he is. And little Scarlett has him securely wrapped around her paws. He'll lay in one position on the bed for hours just to not disturb her when she's sleeping.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I will be so happy when Tallulah gets her greeting before I do! This is just a small victory in what I'm beginning to think will be a long battle before Tallulah wins. When I brought her home from the groomer yesterday looking gorgeous, he said "Well, she doesn't look quite so scruffy." Another basic difference -- I love love love scruffy looking dogs, but he likes smooth, short-haired dogs. Kind of like the yard -- just when I think the plants are beginning to look full and lush, he's out there trimming them back because they're 'getting out of control.' But he's a great guy and she's going to win him over. |

| So nice to hear someone else say that. My DH said the same thing when we got our Papillon. He said they were yappy frou-frou dogs. Our little girl stole his heart and is definitely HIS dog. When he sits and watches tv, she curls up on his chest and nuzzles her head under his chin or lays it on his shoulder. When I decided to get my Yorkie he said the same thing again. However I see him work hard to make sure that they like him and do not feel intiminated by him. He is almost 6 foot and 325lbs so he seems HUGE to them. They are only 5 lbs.
