| You may first want to read this thread about PetPlan before you consider it. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...d-petplan.html VPI Pet Insurance is pretty good. You may want to google it and look over what they have to offer, too. Good luck to you!

| Look for a plan that covers heriditary/congenital conditions. A lot of insurance companies won't cover these so read carefully. Embrace and Petplan are two that I know of that do.

| I have VPI Pet Insurance for my Wolfie and have had no problems. Check it out for yourself. My job just started providing their services about 2 years ago, so I signed my baby up for it. I can call VPI and ask questions anytime, and I do. This new pup Mom is a nervous nellie sometimes. :-) |

| I cancelled Pet Plan. I've heard too many negative stories about them lately. I just started a savings account for emergencies (just in case) for Cerise. Regular checkups and such will just have to be paid for like expected.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I have Trupanion. I have never had to use it yet but I was really impressed. They cover 90 percent, and u choose to have a deductible or not. Also if your pup is under a yr you can choose to add hip displaysia.. I have no deductible and HD coverage and I pay 39 a month. They also cover congenial and hereditary conditions..so far it seems many people are happy with it. Last edited by LuvTaycieGirl; 10-05-2010 at 07:25 AM. |
