| Doggie car seats Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive dog car seat that I could use for Roxie? We have been traveling with her a bit more, and I would love to get one for her, any ideas? Thanks! |

| I've noticed most car seats are def. not inexpensive. I just broke down and finally bought one after Jackson & I's car accident. I found a Snoozer Lookout size Medium on eBay for $80, which is better than it retails for over $120. Snoozer seems to be a highly recommended brand of car seats, even though they are a bit pricey. I love ours! Even though Jackson learned how to get out of it but he's been MUCH better, he even gets into it and lays down when he's not strapped in so he's learned to love it. check ebay and amazon for some deals!

| Pet gear inc is where i got mine. Its a booster and like a childs booster the sealtbelt goes under, and it has a lead attached that you clip to their harness. Put loves it. he is able to see out the window and is safe. i use to put it in the back seat, then dh decided to buy me a corvette so i cant use it.. i told dh i want him to somehow hook it in the back for me, but he hasnt done that yet..

| I also have a Snoozer carseat, and they are not inexpensive. However, it is one of the best things I have purchased for my girls. We tried the carseats that kind of hang down from the neck of the seat, and they didn't like those at all. I highly recommend if you aren't crating her on your car trips now that you at least get a nice car harness (usually around $30) to strap her in for all your trips until you can settle on a carseat that you like. Here is an example of one: Pet Car Harness for Small Dogs

| I found this awesome carseat at TJ Maxx, actually. It was normally $89.99 and I got it for $24.99. I am really happy with it. It has an adjustable strap that goes around the headrest so they are high enough to look out the window. It has a pillow inside and it has pockets around the outside to store things- I put treats and brushes in them. It also folds flat when Im not using it. I attach Zoe's harness to a leash inside the carseat and it is adjustable also. She has enough room to lay down or stand up. Zoe loves it as much as I do and I feel soooo much more safe with her in the carseat. |

| Mine love their Snoozer. Before they were too low to see out. Now they watch everything out the windows. People wave to them at stop lights and I put it in the middle of the backseat so I'm cleaning windows less. ;0

| I have the car harness, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only difference between the car seat and the harness is the fact the car seat has cushions, I don't think the car seat will provide more protection versus the harness... at least that is what I found out when doing my little research... Is so hard to keep her in the harness after allowing her to ride in my lap for so long... now when riding she really wants to seat on the driver's lap, no matter who the driver is... so funny! She even stands by the stirring wheel and her little paws will move just like if she was driving, dangerous, but still cute LOL |

| We have a Snoozer for Bailee. He really likes it and wants to be in it when he is in the car. He is buckled in and can see out the window. I feel very safe with him in the car in his seat. Good investment.
