| Standing ears Satch's ears are just not standing up and I am really worried. He will be 12 weeks old the 6th of Nov.I look at all the pictures of your puppies and they all seem to have straight standing perky ears.Is there anything I can do other than fold them and rub them to help strenghten the cartlidge? Thanks for your input,I appreciate all the help I can get

Shave their hairs inside and outside. Massage them daily and they'll stand someday.

Keep them shaved at the tips, sprinkle food with Carnation Instant Milk, you can tape them for one week and massage them frequently. I had to tape Chloe's and it worked but this summer she got heated and they flopped back down. So, I trimmed them at the tips to keep them up and it worked fine. Lacey's have always been up, they're cute either up or down I think.

Don't freak (and just for the record, your baby is absolutely adorable with floppy ears!!) Anyways, my suggestion to you is to shve the ears (or have a groomer do it) My baby TJ is about 8 months old now, and his ears were floppy until his first grooming at 6 months. He had his ears shaved and they stood straight up for about 2 months. He is due for another ear shaving cause they are floppy again. It really is all about your preference for your baby's ears. I think he would be adorable either way!

It's probably due to teething, My boyfriend and I were considering taping Tiggers ears because one stayed down all the time but one day it just stood up. we figured it was due to teething and he was right about your pups age maybe a little older. hold on. I do agree I would have the ears to help lighten the weight. best of luck.
