| I'm new and... I don't have a yorkie yet, but I've been doing a LOT of research and trying to find the perfect breed for my family. I have a fully fenced in yard (although my puppy would be primarily indoors unless he/she was on a leash and going for a walk). My main concern is finding out different health issues that these dogs are prone to? Also, finding a reputable breeder in my area would be fantastic. I do have 2 small(er) children, but they would never be left alone with the dog EVER (for their safety and the pups) and at least for the first few weeks, my work will allow me to bring my puppy to work with me. I'm just trying to cover my bases and make sure that I'm fully prepared for what I'm getting into. If anyone has any information that they would like to share with me, I would greatly appreciate it. Also if you know any reputable breeders in the Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR area please share this as well! Thank you so much in advance! |
