Yorkie Yakker | 8 months PG w PUPPY BLUES HELP!! Hey I have a really dumb question as all of you probe know by now my little Rain men passed away on august 23 and I am 8 months pregnant no I don’t have baby blues, my great husband says I have what he calls PUPPY BLUES. I am still having trouble with expecting that he is gone. And I know this is going to sound bad but it’s like because he is no longer with me I can’t seem to find the time or love to give to frost my female yorkie. I know what some of you may be saying but yes I have lost other animal but not one that I loved so much, or one that was as much a part of our family. Please help does anyone know how long this feeling of not wanting frost around will last, or what I can do to speed up my recover time so I can be with her. Please nothing mean just helpfully friendly good advices.

| I am so sorry to hear that you have the "Furbutt Blues". I'm sure hormones have alot to do with it, but more seirously, you are probably depressed, too! I guess I would give myself some time and ask hubby to fill in the void with your furbaby for a time. Grief is a personal thing and we all go through it in our own time and way. I am certain this will pass, just keep yourself eating healthy, get lots of fresh air and find strength in the good memories you have of Rain. Keep us posted on how you're doing. Just give it time and take little steps toward developing that relationship again. Hang in there and know that we are always hear to lend and ear or a shoulder. Take care! |

| I am so sorry for your loss, It can take time to get over a loss when you have so much love for them, I also lost a yorkie 17 year's ago now and felt the same pain it took 3 month's before i started to heal and i was helped by having a dream about him and we were playing in the most wonderful place the grass was so greed and the flower's so fibrant, I then realised when i awoke that i must of had one of those out of body experience's, I awoke the next morning and that feeling that my heart was broken more at peice as i just know my boy is waiting happy in the place called rainbow bridge untill we meet again. |

| Yorkie love I know how you must feel as i had a tiny little girl yorkie that i loved like no other dog I ever had.Someone broke into my home and stole her from me.I felt like I was in a complete fog for a very long time.I said I never wanted another dog but I went out and got another little girl and I love her so much also. She will never take the place of my little Miley but she does bring me great joy.It will take some time and you will alway's think of the Yorkie you lost. When the baby come's you will forget some of the pain you are feeling. You will be very busy with your new familey member that you won't have much time to think about what happened and that will be a good thing.God bless |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I'm sorry for your loss. It's never easy to deal with. Please know that there is no set time frame for grieving the loss of something or someone. We all deal with it in our own way and in our own time. As for Frost- she's grieving, too. She lost her furbutt friend, and she knows her mommy is hurting. Giving her love and attention is NOT being disloyal to Rain in any way. He wouldn't want you to be upset, he'd much rather you be happy. And he would want Frost to be happy, too. Good luck. I hope you can find some peace soon.
