| October 8th update - Mabel is now fully vaccinated and this morning I took her for her first walk near a road. I double checked her harness and everything seemed fine but just when we were getting started she was excited and pulled just a bit and her clasp came apart and because she's tiny the velcro slid down her back legs. I panicked to grab her and dropped Darwin's leash accidentally. He's pretty good about listening and came right to me when I called. Talk about scary. Could I get some advice about the step in Puppia harness - likes and dislikes - I NEED A NEW HARNESS!!!! Thanks!!! And no, I don't recommend a ferret harness anymore!!! |

| I use a Puppia harness on Sophie Kate and I like it. Problem was getting it fitted properly, I went through so many harnesses until I finally gave up and took her to a store and they showed me how to fit it for her. Sophie Kate is 8 lbs and wears a small in the Puppia (am going to try to attach a picture of her in the harness). Good luck, I remember trying to get a harness to fit her when she was smaller and oh my goodness it was frustrating.

| Copper is just about 3 lbs. I use a harness vest. One website I've used is littledogheaven.com The harnesses velcro at the tummy and in front. Since Copper can wiggle out of the standard harnesses, these harness vests work perfectly.
