It has been awhile...

........but we are doing well and keeping up with a very busy summer!! Shelby & Seymour are doing great..... they went to a Drive-In movie with us last night! It was fun.... we drove up to the ticket office and they gave us our tickets and "poop bags" ..... (we always take necessary items with us, but I LOVED the fact that they were dog friendly and went the extra mile!)
My computer is still not letting me get online, so i am using hubby's laptop until I can get mine to the shop. (that is why I haven't posted too much). Hope to be attending the Bluegrass Classic this year..... and hope that it is nice weather. The heat has been so unbearable and we really need some 70 deg weather with no humidity!
Anyway.... good "seeing" everyone.... hope you all are doing well!

Hi Shelby, glad your back, and we will be going to Kentucky for the first time, for the Bluegrass Classic. I can't wait to see the bluegreen grass of Kentucky.

I know there is lots to see n do in Lexington, but I was wondering about some water for pups to swim in, and or a leash free park.

Any places you think we just gotta see? We like to roam, hike and swim, and my hubby just loves horses (of course not so much as he loves our doggies)

There used to be a place in Lex with a pool called uptown hounds. There is a dog park in Lex, also, but I have never been there. Are you staying at a hotel? or are you in an RV? The campgrounds that the dogshow is at is a really nice location with plenty of open fields/areas.. great for hiking!!!.... but they do require leashes (but I guess it could be a LONG exercise lead!)
