| How are your pups set up? I am buying a house and am eager to find a good way to set up the dogs. I plan on having a slider doggie door for the pups to have access to the outside. I want to build some sort of enclosure for them to keep them safe, any ideas? Anakin is a climber and my heaviest weighs 5 pounds so I want to come up with something that is fully enclosed.

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | My pup has her play pen in my bedroom with her bed, pad, toys, food and water in.. my garden is completley fenced in so she cant get out when she's out there. Have you thought of an oudoor kennel/run? my brother-in-law has a saluki greyhound and he has one of these. Basically he has a huge kennel which is more like a shed LOL and he has attached a large run which is completley enclosed with a roof ontop for when she is outside. She isn't in it for long periods of time but it gives her space to go potty and play and then the kennel acts as shelter for her.

| I do not like the idea of kennels. JMO but why have dogs if they are separated from you. Mine are in the kitchen and laundry with doggie doors going to the outside. The areas outside are fenced. inside they are divided with a baby gate. I need two areas to keep the boys separated from the girls when they are in heat, and to keep the puppies out from under my husbands wheel chair when he is in the kitchen. |

☺Farrah☺ Donating Member | Farrah and Vanessa share an x-pen while in the house for during the day. They have their own crates for sleeping at night and for outside we have another x-pen. We have a very large yard and lots of birds of prey, foxes and a killer kitty from next door that likes to spend too much time in my yard. So we are outside with the pups at all times.

I don't either, I am hoping to come up with a solution where I can allow the babies outside safely...but I would like something fully enclosed out side. They will with be able to come in from my room or the living room.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I gave up my dining room. I have a extra long gate going in that I can confine them if need be and they have a doggy door that goes to the outside. They can go on the deck or we build a ramp for them to get to the yard. I have over an acre fence for them.
