| So if you have a boy doggy how do you dress him up? After our visit to a different breeder, we might go "boy" now. I wanna know what I can dress him in. collars, harnesses, clothes, hair accessories...I want pics and links! |

| He's a dog. Don't forget that. I think his health and well being should be a priority over putting him in dresses and bows. There are a few members who tastefully dress their boys go have a look on the picture forum. |

| Lots of boys get dressed. My Clarence (RIP) loved it when I pulled out something to put on him. Keegan however RUNS the other way!

| oh, I'm thinking a stylish vesh/harness and cute collar, not full on outfit. and regarding hair, just wondering if most just keep them trimmed short, etc. I shouldn't start posts at 5am lol. |

No Longer a Member | With Rizzo I just put a shirt on him for picture time. Though I did get him various sweaters for winter time, since it will get very very very cold in my house. Even with the fireplace and an electric heater I was always cold (marble flooring sucks for that!) For now he wears his anti-leschmanisis (sp?) collar, but when I get to take that off in October he'll start rocking his blue or red and black collars. I stick with typical boy colors. And he's to young to have a specific "hair style" but while I did like pulling his hair back into a top-knot he didn't enjoy the process of putting it up, and would wiggle it out in minutes. So right now he has a very terrible shorter haircut (bad experience with an amature groomer...) But I do like shorter looks on these pups, as well as the long ones. Whatever you prefer I guess. |

| When Clarence (RIP) was little he had a spiked collar. Keegan had a Harley collar. I don't do bows in the hair but alot of people do. Keegan and Sophie have short hair cuts in the summer then I let it grow longer for the winter. It doesn't get crazy cold in Fl but chilly enough to make them uncomfortable, thus the longer hair.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | My boys wear clothes mostly in the winter....polos, sweaters, and hoodies. Reese has floppy ears so no top knot for him but the other two wear their head up. Some will disagree but my boys are far more sweeter and loving than my girls...who are much more independant.

| Beamer just has a bow from Bowbiz (member here) in his hair to keep it out of his eyes. He does have a beautiful harness from T.Bumpkins & Co (member here) that he loves to wear when he goes out for a walk. Other than that I haven't put him in clothes - although Bruce has suggested we put the Build a Bear Miami Dophins outfit on him (I have a Build a Bear with different outfits).

| Little boys can be just as fun to dress. Pistol has many different colors and styles of walking harnesses with matching collars and leashes. These he wears the most. He also has a couple of hoodies for fall and spring time. T shirts and tank tops for summer, he only wears those when we go out somewhere. As it gets cold in Pa. in winter time he has sweaters and winter coats. He has jammies also, we use these mostly when we take him tent camping as it does get chilly in the woods at night. He likes to be dressed when it's cooler out. When his hair is longer in the winter time he has a few bows. One is black with skulls and cross bones, one is navy blue with a red, black and white fire truck, he has a Pittsburgh Steeler bow that is black and gold and matches his jersey. You just need to look around a little more to find clothing and bows for boys, but if your pup doesn't mind wearing them they can be found. |

| I don't have a boy anymore, and didn't dress the boys that I did have, but I saw a thread under product reviews where some owners with boy dogs complained about the boy shirts not being short enough. Someone on here is going to start making more boy clothes, and also make their shorts shorter in the front so that they can use the restroom without wetting their clothes. I'll try to get the thread so you can get his or her name and link up with him or her before buying; I wanted to warn you about the shirts. If someone participated or saw this same thread, feel free to help me out. (:

| I had a male maltese; I didn't dress him up much but I did keep a blue bow in his topknot all the time. I am not dressing Lucy much these days because it is SO hot; maybe this fall she can model her cute outfits! I see boy clothes in the dog stores so you should be able to find something cute.
