Just have to brag a little, Allie was so good for me as I brushed and bathe her. She was so patient as I combed and picked, she actually laid down and took a little nap. I LOVE the way she smells after a bath.
Yep its officall ( as my sister in law calls me) I am one of those crazy dog people. If she was ever to own a yorkie she would understand!

Your Allie needs to teach my Ally how it's done! Mine is still a diva and runs and hides and cries if there is even a hint of a knot in her hair. Good going Allie. She is beautiful!

oh she runs and hides when she sees the blow dryer, but after I "catch" her she is good cause she knows shes getting a good treat.

Hasn't always been this way she would wiggle, try to bite at me, but the last 2 times shes been really good. i bought this razor looking thing ( kinda looks like a miniture version of the grim reapers thing he carries, sorry best way I can describe it, basically a pocket knife with a handle) I use it to pull through her mats then comb it out it with a flea comb. works great for me it doesn't cut the hair bluntly but thins out the mats and blends in the hair.
I need to buy a better harness cause the cheapy nylon one always mats her really bad around her neck.

she thanks you all for the compliments!!!! I have 2 boys 15 and 12, I can't barley get them to take a bath most of the time , so I really enjoy pampering my "daughter".

Beamer got his harness from T.Bumpkins & Co right here on YT.

Beamer is good about being groomed (a big thank you to his breeder), and as soon as I finish brushing and combing him he goes straight to the fridge. I open the door and he tries to claw the inside drawer open before I can get to it, he just wants his baby carrot. He gets one every time I groom him.

My BF has always said I will be one of these crazy old dog ladies with hundreds of little dogs following me every where I go LOL
