| Where did I go wrong!? Well, I have noticed many difference in 16 month old Bailey and 26 month old Jesse. Jesse only barks if someone knocks on the door, he will stop when I tell him to. Jesse comes when called, He sits still when I blow dry him ( although he did not like getting bathed in the sink, so will try the tub next time ) Jesse walks perfectly on a leash and doesn't make a peep when we ride in the car. Hmmmmm... Bailey is a different story, I had Bailey since he was 9.5 weeks. He barks when some one is at the door, and doesn't stop when told, he is not a barker just for the sake of barking when we are home, but when we are out around other dogs...especially my bf's two dogs, he will bark his head off at them, for their attention I think Bailey comes when called..but only when he wants too!, sometimes he will come to me and then run like the wind when I go to pick him up Bailey is a prefect little guy when getting bathed, and he loves the blow dryer..loves to attack it that is, he thinks it's a toy Bailey refuses to walk on a leash Bailey loves to bark in the car, he will just sit in his car seat yapping away, it is a little better now, but I doubt he will ever just sit there quietly. I blame my bf and his dogs for corrupting Bailey. Before I got my yorkies I would tell my bf that he should have trained his dogs ( they bark like mad when they hear someone outside and do not listen when you to them to be quiet. They have no manners, not the doggies fault..so I won't blame his dogs after all..I'll just blame my bf Oops, Bailey does have one GREAT thing going for him..he is pee pad trained ( I did something right ) Jesse is not pee pad trained. They do have something in common, both of them are super cute!!

| I think some dogs just bark more than others...Buzz would bark a whole lot more, than he does, but when he starts, I tell him, very firmly, no, and he stops...He uses barking as an intimidating weapon to get something from Apple...Maybe, because he's not aggressive, idk? Apple only barks, when someone comes to the door....She is wonderful, in that area, and my house was much quieter, before Master Buzz arrived on the scene... I could never get Apple to go on pee pads (good luck w/that), only outside...Buzz goes on pads or outside...They're both good w/the baths and hair dryer, but that maybe because they're used to it, on a regular basis...Buzz walks better on a leash, because he wants to "go somewhere", and Apple wants to "sniff everything!"...Buzz comes when called, Apple comes, if you tell her she'll get a treat lol...I think your boys are going to be different, and you'll learn to love their differences...I don't think you went wrong, I think it was your bf...lol...just kidding |

| I think every dog has his or her own little personality. Bella likes to bark when she hears noises outside. Piper doesnt much unless Bella just doesnt stop barking. Piper has a soft little growl when she sees people or dogs on the street ..Bella doesnt. Bella goes outside to pp and Piper uses a pad They are so different!! The only thing they do the same is sleep all day!! |

| I agree with everyone else... I think all dogs are just different Couver isn't much of a barker but Khloe barks just to hear her own voice. Couver is a snuggle monster and Khloe just wants her independence. Khloe is more food oriented while Couver will snub almost any treat. I love their differences... it's what make them unique!

| Having raised yorkies for 14 years I can honestly say that they each have their own personality, just like our human children do. Genetics also plays a role in each yorkies personality. You can raise a litter of pups exactly the same and they can each have totally different personalities. You just have to love them the way they are. |

| Darlene, I have been asking myself the same question about my boys, lol. You may recall that they are full brothers, different litters, and Teddy was a full 8 months old before he came home with me. I have been joking ever since that I should have let our breeder raise Maximo until he was that age. Maximo is a pretty good guy, but Teddy is a dream because the breeder trained him. |
