Leah cries whenever I put her in her kennel for nap and Izzy growls whenever whenever she cries... Lasy night Izzy went after her because Leah was just "looking" at her bone... All day yesterday and Today she has been laying around, only nibbling on her food Etc... I see that Izzy will never accept another dog coming into our home..lol Any advice would be great!! Thank YT

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Its normal behaviour, Izzy is just protecting her territory. I have had my yorkie pup for 5 weeks and I have an older cross breed dog which Ive had for 10 years, my older dog isnt happy about it either. At first she point blank refused to even be in the same room as the pup but now things are slowly starting to get better.

Well I feel really bad because of all my dogs Izzy ( 9 months old) is my favorite and she know its... Izzy gets to go anywhere in the house because she's completely housetrained and does really well.. But leah was so scared when she came here I held her alot for the first couple of hrs and Izzy wouldn't even come near me..She went on my husband's lap and just looked at me then turned her head..no kidding!!! She would always jump in my lap. So after that I gave Leah to hubby and I took Izzy with me... Now she is being naty to Leah and i have Leah here till Sunday The things i get myself into
