| New brother for Maggie Well - I have gone and done it. I put down a deposit today for a baby brother for Maggie. My children think that I have gone off the deep end but that is O.K. They do not live with me and do not pay the vet bills. I just felt that Maggie would like to have someone to play with. He is only three weeks old so it will be a while before we get him but I am very excited. What is everyones experience with introducing new family members. Maggie is spoiled rotten but she is so sweet I can't help it. |

| My kids think I am crazy too, but these little love bugs sure do fill the empty nest. How old is Maggie? It will be a little adjustment but she will do great.

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Welcome to YT and congratulations on your new pup. I have had my pup for 3 weeks now and we also have an older cross breed who is 12 years old. My older dog is spoilt rotton too and wasnt very happy when we first brought the pup home. At first she wouldnt even sit in the same room as her but she is slowly coming round to the idea. Now she will sit next to her and has even let the pup climb on her a couple of times, some days are better then others though.. she has never snapped at the pup but some days she just cant be bothered and walks away from her. They will come round in time dont worry. I think its a good idea that you already have a dog because the pup can learn from the other dog, Poppy already copies off Jess so hopefully Jess will teach her alot of things when shes older. Good luck.
