| Oliver's first playdate! Ok so my really good friend Kristy came over the other night and brought her 4 month old chihuaha Coco over to meet Oliver. We get together to watch the Bachelorette every Monday night so I asked her to bring her pup over so that Oliver and her could play Well it was too funny! As soon as she put Coco down to meet Oliver, he jumped on her and tried to hump her! Now Oliver is only 15 weeks sooo I don't think it was sexual in nature, I'm pretty sure he was just trying to show his dominance but I still freaked out! Is this normal though? Should I just let them play or was I right to say "no" and separate them? It was pretty funny but I'm so new to owning a puppy that I wasn't sure what I should do Haha those two are so funny together though!

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | OMG- the look on his face in the second picture is priceless! And yes, at 15 weeks his mounting was all about showing her that this was his house/his rules. Just seperate them and give something else to do to distract them. If it continues, you can put him in a brief time out (a minute or two) until he realizes that doing that makes him loose out on fun play time.

| quit posting such cute pics, I can't afford another dog Teegy has a new friend. Her name is Lucy she is a brown and white miniature Austrialian shepherd. She is 3 months. Her owner was walking her outside my place last week and the two of them started playing like mad puppies do. Joan loved this so much she asked if I'd mind if she brought Lucy by a few times a week. I of course don't because the more doggy friend Teegy has the better. They came by the other night and played for over an hour until little Lucy was pooped. I told Teegy not to be too rough with her because when she's fully grown she'll whoop his butt. Did I mention I hate dog owners who, when they see another dog coming, drag their's across the other side of the street or pull them away. Then they probably complain they have a yappy nasty little dog. |

I totally agree with that! Oliver starts group puppy kindergarden next week and I'm sooo excited for him to get all that socialization with other puppies his age. I'm nervous about letting him play with older, bigger dogs but would LOVE for him to have playdates with puppies so he can get accustomed to them! Sounds like my Oliver would just love your little Teegy! Cute name btw!!

| Both puppies are really adorable but Oliver (my dad's name) is just gorgeous! He looks so little in the photo. How big is he? My Charlie is quite the looker (in my humble opinion.) But he's a big Yorkie. He's 6 months and around 8 pounds. And since he had his first grooming, he doesn't look like my baby anymore (Even though I got him a puppy cut.) I'd love to post some pics of him but I'm not sure how to do it and I need to get my camera fixed. Keep having fun at the playdates. Charlie has a little friend THeo who is almost a year. Last night they had a sleepover since my daughter was sleeping over her godmother's house. They had a blast. Theo is older and a lot bigger (I think he might be a Maltese or Maltipoo.) Charlie is definitely the alpha in the group though! |
