| Oh that's good. I was just pointing it out so that the lady can't get mad at you in case the neutering doesn't fix it. I'm so glad you're offering to help educate this person. Big hugs to you!!!

| I'm glad you found his owner. Did he seem excited to see her?

| You did a good thing, I'm sorry you feel sad. As much as we would like, we can't make anyone do what we want, if they don't agree. Hopefully you taught her something and she will follow through, but even if she doesn't, you saved him, for that you should be proud. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I'm glad that Monster had an owner that was looking for him, but sad that she needs some encouragement to do what is responsible for him and his housemate.

| awww good job! He sure was a cutie!!! This is a prime example of how we as YT members have so much to give to other dog owners!!! The woman sounds like she cares for her dogs, she found you pretty quick and she even wanted to give $$ for finding him. She wants you to groom them, what a great way to keep in touch with her and help her to learn more about this breed and how fascinating they are, but stubborn and headstrong too! You are wonderful!! Kudos to you!

| I'm happy that Monster found his home, what a name lol I'm sorry you feel sad but it does sound like this lady must care for her dog. How many others are found lost and noone ever is out looking for them. Some people love and care for their pets but don't go to the extremes that some of the people on here go to. I love my dogs and I take care of them as best as I can by grooming them, bathing them, doing their hair etc. I don't really "dress" them up often and I don't even own any bows for their hair. Some people like to go the extra step in "spoiling" their dogs and others don't. My mom has a yorkie and she had long hair, I always told my mom about grooming her and brushing her daily. Bathes etc. Well when I had her for 3 weeks and my mom was out of town, she had lots of mattes in her hair. I was kind of mad at my mom for letting her hair get like that and I went ahead and groomed her, shaved all her hair off and left it on the head which was still matted but I didn't want to have her totally bald. My mom just didn't brush her daily and was ignorant to the fact that it should be done every day to be properly cared for. I mean I guess you would consider that as someone who neglects their animal? But my mom loves her dog very much and takes proper care of her, she may not be all into doing the hair and dressing her up, but she thinks that is silly. She laughs at me sometimes when I do it. She thinks they are "dogs" and should be treated like a dog. YOu can't be mad at someone because they don't spoil their dogs rotten. Last edited by yorkie_mama22; 07-23-2010 at 08:48 AM. |
