| I've just gotten where my fingers can't work the tiny bands hardly anymore, I've even gotten a cramp trying to double a tiny band and that was horrible. I still use them when I'm putting a bow on. But for everyday, keeping the hair out of their eyes these have been a godsend.

| Hi Darlene Rozi has real delicate hair on her head too and I was having the breaking probs too. I always take the grooming band out every night and never put the band scissors to the band, but pull the band out a bit away from the hair with a comb, then cut it with the band scissors Anyway, long story short, lol, I have been using Vellus Satin Cream on her pony tail before putting in a band and after baths, and never have the hair break from the bands anymore and the cream has helped her hair thicken up a bit up there. Don't think it will ever be as full as Nappys' is, but it has improved quite a bit since using the Vellus.

| I bought a bag of latex bands...very tiny..at a Beauty Supply place. It's similar to the ones the dentist uses for braces. There were hundreds in a bag for about a dollar or so. They're clear.

| Yes, only when we want to. Somedays I let her have one around the house but generally not. Usually, only if we are going somewhere and she is dressed.

| I have found that it really depends on the elastic. Some catch the hair even if you cut them out. I have found the ones that work best for me are called "Super Stretch" They come in a pack of 250. I got them from Sally Beauty Supply and they are used for professional braiding. I loop 3 times in Trudy's hair... |

YT Addict | Hey I had the same question while back ago. I'm a human hair stylist and it bothered me alot that when I took out their bows and hair would be stuck to it. I use latex rubber bands or cloth covered rubber bands don't really know what they called but they are in the baby hair section in stores. I also use a hair wax on the base of the hair where the bow will sit. It's human stuff but it's only a little bit and it doesn't hurt them it helps alot with the breakage. |
