| How did you pick out name for your baby I've wondered what makes people pick out the names they did for their puppy? I had picked out Chloe and Zoe but finally decided to name her after my grandma Zoe. How about y'all?

| My sister picked Lola's name from a movie she was watching. I was browsing the boy name's her on YT and saw Riley and really liked it, so I went with that. I like how you named your's after your grandma

| Thanks, and your baby and I have the same name. I was named after the song"Whatever Lola Wants Lola Gets" by my other grandma. LOL

| I flipped through a book of 'must see' movies and read aloud names I liked to my husband. We both liked Indiana Jones and decided on "Indy."

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I already had a little Maltese that my husband emotionally stole from me. (that dang dog worships my dh) and his name is Presley. After searching for about a year for a little Biewer girl......I named her Priscilla. I know it's corny but these babies "float our boat"! |

| We had watched 'Walk the Line' (the movie about Johnny Cash) and he had a song called 'Jackson' ("I'm goin' to Jackson... you big talkin' man!") lol and my mom had mentioned it to me and it just stuck! I had a pic of him before I met him and just kept looking at him saying 'Jackson' and trying out other names but it couldn't leave my mind. I thought it was a cool name too because I always liked MJ & Jackson Five.

| Kalina is named for my three sisters: KAren LInda and NAncy KALINA. Matilda Lula is named for my mother and MIL. We call her Matty Lu. Sebastian - I let my daughter pick out his name. Gidget - It just seemed to fit her!

| I started thinking I would like something Scottish. I came up with Iona. Then mum and I got talking and her last name is McTigue, as kids they were called the Tiguey's (pronounced in Scottish slang as Taygees). She said Teegy would be a great name for a wee boy dog. So we left it to my dad the next morning, Iona or Teegy, dad chose Teegy and voila. So when I got him, I burst into tears like a big giant baby and cried out "Hi Teegy". |

| We named our yorkie Tanny/Tanya after one of my wife's favorite bands, "The Be Good Tanyas." We have two other non yorkies with kind of "interesting" names: "Cecil Peoples" is our basset hound- we named him after a kickboxing ref we saw on TV that we thought had a funny name. And the name fits our hound like a glove... "Jeebs Canebus (pronounced kuh-nee-bis)" is some kind of mutt we rescued from the pound. He is about 100lbs, big and white and looks kind of like a st bernard/lab/something else mix. He is one of the sweetest and most loving dogs I have ever seen. My wife just randomly made up the name awhile back and decided she wanted to give it to a dog one day. |
