| Had to take Jasmine to vet today As you remember, I just got my new baby last Wednesday. She is so beautiful and loving. My husband really didn't want another dog (we have the 6 month old Westie), but he's already in love with her. I noticed when we got her she was a little thin, so I've been trying to fatten her up. We feed our Westie the frozen Biljac. She liked it pretty well. I also had some Chicken Soup for the dog lover Soul and she ate a little of that. I cooked her an egg a couple of times and bought her some baby meat sticks. She loved both of those. On Saturday, I noticed she seemed to have something in her throat, like she was trying to cough and gag and get it out. I fed her often and gave her plenty of water, but by Sunday it was getting worse. I took her in to the Vet this morning and she has worms. She gave me a pill (wormer) to put in her food and an antibiotic to give her twice a day for a few days. Poor baby. I'm going to keep her with me at work all day. I'm a little disapointed in the breeder. Didn't she worm her, Or can they come on very quickly. I know my Westie doesn't have worms because he is getting chubby and is very healthy. I weighed him on my bathroom scales Saturday, and he weighs about 18 pounds. I may have to put him on a diet. I went ahead and got him a worm pill too, as I don't want him to get them from her. Just an update on their "jealousy" thing. It's better already. She is sort of feisty and will growl and snap at him. He will back off. It is so funny as he makes about 10 of her. She is very tiny. She will jump on him and want to play-wrestle. He seems to be very careful and won't really bite her back and is careful not to hurt her. He's still a little jealous, but I think it will all work out. I also had 5 of my grandchildren (and one of their friends) at my house all weekend. With 6 kids and 2 furbabies, there was never a dull moment. What a lot of fun. My house was a mess when they all left and they ate me out of house and home, but I consider myself so lucky. My human babies are Laura, Andrea, Matt, Jessie, Tori, Ashlynn, Spencer and Collin. They range in age from 20 to 4 years old. My furbabies are Jasmine and Duffy. They are both babies at 6 months and 12 weeks. |

| had to take jasimine puppies are born with worms. The breeder usually only worms them once or twice. We had to worm Ceeby about two weeks after we got him. It is no reflection on the breeder. He won't take pills but we have some very good tasting (they say) liquid worm medicine we give our other puppies and he loved it. I just put it in a syringe and put it in the side of his mouth. He started feeling better in about an hour. |

| I hope Jasmine feels better soon. I think it was smart picking up a worm pill for Duffy, because I think they can catch it from eachother. It's best to be on the safe side. Please keep us updated!

| same here. when we first got Crunchy he had worms and the vet said it was no big deal, very common with many breeders since they have several puppies at one time, so dont be too disappointed with the breeder. everything was fine after we gave him the pill. hopefully jasmine gets better
