| Gypsy's coming home on Sunday!! Well, I'm finally going to get her home. She was spayed last Saturday and is doing great. Apparently it took an hour for the surgery (does anyone know how long it usually takes for spaying?) so her breeder said I may have to wait until Wednesday or so to make sure she is fully recovered but I just got a call from her and she says Gypsy is doing so well she can come home on Sunday as planned. I can't wait!!! It's been a long 3 weeks. Now all I have to do is hope that she likes me and will bond OK with me. I was a little nervous about getting an adult dog but many of you have had good experiences so I'm going to try. She's so beautiful I couldn't have turned her down anyway. How long do you think it will take for her to get comfortable in her new home? I guess I'll just have to be patient. I'll post new pics as soon as she gets home. Kathy, Tango and Gypsy. |
