| I'm torn.... so i was asking for referrals to groomers in the LA area and i got one!! i was very happy ... then i found out that this "groomer" is also a breeder!! and a BYB at that!!! selling at least 4 different types of puppies.... so it was the only recommendation i got and it was from a friend of a friend who has a yorkie (supposedly, they "specialize" in yorkies) ... well obviously, i won't be buying any puppies from them, but should i not use them as a groomer as well? the grooming is $30.... thoughts?!? |

| On personal principle, I would not. There are plenty of groomers in LA. I would not support anyone like that in any shape or form.

| I wouldn't because I would think that any money in their pocket will be going into their "breeding program." That's assuming they make more $$ in puppy sales than they do in grooming.

| Have you tried googling groomers in your area and reading reviews? When you settle on one that seems good, go interview them. Ask them how long tipsy would have to wait; if you have an appointment will they start working on her right away; how do they deal with aggression; and whatever else you would want to know. At least that's what I would do.

| Then again there can't be many $30 groomers there, either.

| No. I'd stay far away from Petsmart and Petco. I would never do that to Kacee.

| Why don't you try yelp.com? The reviewers on there are very thorough and on there all the time, almost like us on YT.
