| Need help to Calm my Spanky As soon as Spanky knows I am leaving the house or anyone else leaving. He freaks out.( Barking,Jumping, running at your feet) Once you leave he calms down and is ok. I am trying hard to stop this with no luck. I worry that the excitment will harm him. Also as he can get hurt running down the stairs to follow you to the door. Please help me with a solution to this problem. Thank You Jim |

| Maybe if you post this in the "training " section more people will see it.....All I can offer is to have a harness on him and when this might occur, leash him up and keep it taunt so he is at your side and you have control of him and you're able to correct him, always use the same *code* word in the correction in a calm but firm voice.....It might take a few weeks bit it's worth a try........ Maybe someone will see this for additional tips.....Good luck.
