| How old is an adult yorkie? How can we say that a yorkie is already an adult? |

| ???? I don't think there's even a consensus on when a yorkie stops growing. I've seen multiple answers to both questions. My short answer to this question... never! They're all puppies to me.

| My Hutch was 16 when he passed on. He acted like a puppy until a month or so before he left us. So, if we ignored his signs of aging, I would say he was a puppy until he was 15-3/4 years old.

| I've always heard that for small dogs it is 2 years old. I'm not sure if that's true or not.

| well...my dogs still act like puppies, much like the way that my husband still acts like he's 12, haha. I have always read that a dog is an "adult" at one year old...but I'm certain there are a lot of people feel the same about the two year mark.

| If they're ready for their de-sexing at six months old (teenager) 1 year must be adult, only problem I have is that the adult dog food is too big for George (17 months) he cant bite through it easily, so mummy breaks it up for him, he still prefers the puppy size kibble
