| Any else own an abstinence dog??? Every single time my husband and I snuggle or try to kiss while on the couch or in our bed, this cute little yorkie makes her way right in the middle of us and tries to be involved. She kisses on us and she buts her little rear end into the situation. It's hilarious and sends us rolling into laughter...she's not aggressive or mean about it, but she's just THERE. We just laugh and laugh at her little antics. Sometimes she'll be in the kitchen in the x-pen and she will BARK when we kiss each other as if she's got a 6th sense. What a little abstinence doggie. Can't wait til' she's doing this for our children and their dates. HAHA. Anyone else have a pup that gets in the middle in a cute, non aggressive way?? |

| Yep! If my husband and I kiss in bed, Chloe runs up and tries to get her tongue in there! It's hilarious, and I think sometimes my husband waits until she's just almost asleep on purpose. Then he'll lean over to kiss me just to get her attention. If she wasn't so darned cute, I might almost be jealous! He's kissing me to get her riled up, not for me! We're also not allowed to hug for very long (like when he comes home from work or leaves, etc) because she'll start barking, wanting attention too. While she waits patiently for her turn, she just stares and stares!! And we get all of about five seconds of that before she starts complaining! -C

| WHEN I had a husband, and my first yorkie, Brandi, she would not allow me to even touch HER MAN, kisses brought on furious barking and charging at us. We used to laugh. I guess in the end she won. I have no idea how these two would react, because I haven't had a man the whole time I have owned them. "Abstenance dog" how cute ROFLMAO

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I'll state the obvious. Hanging a DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door will not work - closing the door probably won't work so you may be doomed to have 3-ways. They can be VERY interested in certain human behavior ...controlling too ...and as bad as it sounds - be right in the middle of every little thing ever thought of a motel ????? |

she's not so bad with that part because we know to just put her up for a bit, but for just simple snuggles and kissies on the sofa. she's always right there looking to get involved at least it's not out of agression or jealousy though, she just likes kissies too haha

sorry - had to say that have you ever seen the 'Diamond' thread ? it was the funniest thread on here I think and the poor girl who posted it was dead serious.....upset cause her dog was in the room while her sister and boyfriend were 'together' - and she came home to find her yorkie right in the room lol - when I say she was upset - I mean to the point of no one knowing if she was serious or joking - if you haven't seen that one - I'll find it. It's good for a huge laugh

| Yes, Roxie gets seriously jealous when DBF and I are affectionate. If we are laying together on the couch she will come and lay right on top of us. If we kiss and hug she barks. Silly girl!

most of the time she's in the kitchen in the x pen, but sometimes if we're all ready for bedtime (she sleeps with us) and something comes along all of a sudden...well then it's easier to slip her into the kennel (always beside my bed) and go with the mood

| dh came up with that term. he just started to call her that one day when she kept getting in the middle! we used to take a nap during my lunch hour every day where all three of us would lay on the couch which is very small and overcrowded and Sadie wouldn't allow us to lay there without her right in the middle or on top of us. she would push herself in between and then make herself comfy. Mike was like geez you little abstinence dog...you'll make a good dog when we have teenagers. |

| Gatsby is like this if we are even in the bedroom with the tv turned off (i cant stand it when the tv is on, its like pay attention to me)he will sit downstairs and scream like he knows what we are doing he has also piddled on a box of condoms we joke that we are not sure if he wants a baby or not we cant cuddle in the bed Gatsby and Chi-Chi have to lay in the bed between us under the covers as for kissing we don't do that much in the main house because i raise my 16 year old sister and 10 year old brother and we are not married im terrified of sending the wrong idea.
