my friends buying a puppy from here shes ask for my advice please help

Is she already buying one? or does she want advice on whether or not to buy one?

There are some HUGE red flags on that site... but there is no point going into all of them if she is already bringing a puppy home.

Well I will tell you the red flags I see then:

1. The Yorkie Mom pictured is too small to be used as a breeding dog (4.4 pounds)

2. They are breeding mixes on purpose and calling them "designer dogs"

3. There is no mention of health testing of any kind, this is BAD especially when they are mixing maltese and yorkies two dogs KNOWN to have liver disease.

4. the 12 month health guarantee only comes into effect if the dog DIES... most of the issues that will come up, LP, MVD, LS, etc... will not cause the dog to die just to be a HUGE expense.

I am sure there is more that I am missing as well. I am not pointing all of this out to be mean but only because I would like to save someone else the heartache of having a dog with these issues. If I were your friend I would keep looking, find someone who is breeding purebred dogs only and is doing health testing. Good Luck to her in whatever she chooses.

thanks i will contact her today, she also meantion about she spoke with the breeder judy for a good hr and she meantion they use
a company called jetta pet for flying a guy named tony makes the flight arrangements i have no idea what jetta pet is.. but it didnt sound right
she did state this lady judy wouldnt let her make a paypal
payment because their is no option to make a payment on ths site
the breeder asked her to call or she would contact her first before she would
send her paypal she wouldnt send a puppy anywhere before speaking to the buyer...

I never heard of jetta pet... but they may just be one of those courier services... basically someone picks up the pet from the breeder and flies with the pet under their seat to the location of the new owner... there is nothing wrong with these services, it is better then putting the pup in cargo... although I prefer to see a breeder and their location in person otherwise there is really no way to know where the dog is coming from.

About paypal, there is nothing wrong with that either... paypal is just a safe way to pay so the breeder may have gotten burned before with checks and such and just feels safest using paypal.

Missouri she lives also i found the jetapet.com site i spoke with her as well
i just thought id give her a call shes very nice indeed and sems to love the dogs, very much i just am not good with his type of situation
she does meantion how nasty it is down their with all the dog mills and how she hates it

Personally, I don't like the "nursery" picture. It seems cold to me. Sure, there are stuffed animals and pink decorations, but they don't disguise the kennels. I really like it when breeders use whelping boxes, and give mommas space, or divide the whelping box so as the puppies grow they have a place for eating, sleeping/playing, and one for pottying. I didn't do a thorough check though, as I really should be doing something else. Just my opinion.
