Of course, you could always call him Gibbs . . .

I love Gibbs but nothing would be cuter than a yorkie puppy named McGee. My husband suggested Probie. We have a pug named Maddie that is his precious little angel thus our new puppy would be the new kid on the block! We have to decide on something quick. My husband keeps calling him Diesel and I haven't made anything official..yet.

Well I named my girl Ruby, but while we were in the 'deciding' process we thought that if we had a boy we'd name him......... Shorty , because we thought about how Yorkies and -especially the puppies that are so tiny- aaaalways see things/the world from down below

We knew we had to come up with name for our puppy. We were calling him little man, puppy and baby. I took a pee pee pad and used a sharpie marker to divide it into six equal parts writing all three name options into the grid. We let him choose which name he ended up with. The deal was it didn't matter if it was a number one or two. Which ever block he did his business on was the winner. Thus it is official my baby is now Diesel Murphy. Why didn't I think of this sooner?

We had narrowed it down to three names; McGee, Murphy and Diesel. The list originally had about a dozen names but we were able to whittle it down to just three.

I've been offline for a while, just wanted to let you know that I LOVE the original way you picked his name. I'll remember this and use it myself someday

I wonder if I could divide the pasture into squares when we get our next horse -- give it a couple of days -- and count the "piles"

If I were to have gotten a boy I would have named him Springsteen - because these little guys definately think they are the "BOSS"!!!
