| Well, I'm sure some others with two will come on and help you more than I can, but from what I've heard from the others you want to do things for him first. Give him his treats first, give him attention first. He is jealous and you should understand why he is jealous. He's been King for all of this time and now he feels displaced by the newbie you brought into the house. So, perhaps you could pick him up first and let him sit in your lap and then bring the "newbie" over next to you. This is probably what I would try. I'm sure eventually they will become best friends. You just don't want him to feel like he's the baby that's been tossed out with the bath water.
